The trash to Faerlina consists of pure AoE packs. Keep repeating what you did before. Don’t be too overconfident though and pull too many of the packs standing before Faerlina at the same time.

There are two ways to tackle this boss. The fast way and the safe way. Seeing that you will need high DPS and thus high TPS for the fast way, I’m going to talk about the safe way. The safe way involves dispelling frenzy.

Faerlina stands on her platform with 4 Naxxramas Worshippers. These Worshippers will have to be off tanked and killed when Faerlina enrages. This will remove the enrage.

So, to start the fight simply rush in and attack Faerlina. The off tank will peel off the adds from your pet and go stand off to one side of the room. The off tanks dps should be enough to get a worshipper to low HP before it’s time to kill it off. 60-80 seconds after the encounter begins Faerlina will enrage. At this point pop Shell Shield fast or your pet might die. The DPS will nuke down one of the worshippers and then go back to work on Faerlina.

The off tank will pick the next worshipper to be nuked down if Faerlina has time to enrage a second time. And of course this will be repeated yet another couple of times if your raid has really really low dps.

There really isn’t much more than tank and spank for you as a hunter tank to think of. You don’t need to move out of rain of fire. It’s only 3 ticks over a course of 6 seconds, and your pet only takes 25% of the damage from them. Your melee might be irritated that you don’t move Faerlina out, but it’s just a way of overcomplicating things if you start to pull her around the room. Not to mention that you lose a lot of TPS.

Make sure your dps doesn’t overaggro and you’ll have this boss wrapped up in no time.
